Now sometimes referred to as West Brookhaven, it is an enclave of large, elegant Tudor, Colonial, Georgian and English cottage homes in a lush landscape of broad, winding streets, densely wooded hollows and gently rolling hills with the Capital City Country Club as its heart.
About Atlanta's Ashford Park Ashford Park real estate can be found in a wonderful area east of Peachtree Road and north of Dresden near Dekalb Airport, which is loaded with mostly renovated circa 1940s bungalows. These small homes come with generally good-sized yards and have been a favorite for renovators, investors and first time buyers wanting to be close-in while having a good chance to build some sweat equity with creative renovations. With a lot of old plumbing, outdated ungrounded wiring, asbestos siding and very little insulation, an unaltered home would generally not be a recommendation for the weak of heart or little of experience.
