The Atlanta Botanical Garden
The mission of the Atlanta Botanical Garden is to develop and maintain plant collections for display, education, research, conservation and enjoyment. It started as a proposal for a botanical garden in 1973 by prominent and Civic-minded Atlantans. In 1976 it was incorporated as the Atlanta Botanical Garden, Inc.
