Fairburn's slogan is "History Lives Here."  The first thing you will notice about Fairburn is our historic downtown area.  The central business district includes many buildings on the national register of historic places.  The Old Campbell County Courthouse and rail depots provide a focal point for an active commercial district.  The Georgia Renaissance Festival brings a quarter million people to Fairburn each year to celebrate days of chivalry.  Fairburn has a rich historical culture enjoyed by our residents and visitors alike.

It is important to note that history lives in Fairburn.  We have a community of caring neighbors that are involved in fostering a community where families live and work together.

We are not a town that is locked in the past; we continue to enjoy the benefits of a modern multi-modal transportation system that ties Fairburn to the world.   Investment in infrastructure offers a solid foundation for development.  Our fiber optic network is an example of our dedication to assure that local residents and businesses have an infrastructure second to none. Our schools use the latest technology to help students learn and prepare them for the world of tomorrow.

Please examine what Fairburn has to offer. Let us welcome you into the community and show you that "History Lives Here."

Mayor
